Felix A. Crawford

Chairman of the Board

Felix Crawford has over 50 years of experience in business with a proven track record building successful companies from the ground up.

Crawford is the founder and former Chairman and CEO of Advanced Disposal Services. He oversaw and grew the business to over $150 million in revenues with 800 employees. In 2006, Advanced Disposal Services was sold to HighStar Capital, and it is now traded on the NYSE.

Crawford is also a majority shareholder and board chairman of Acme Barricades, a $50mm business that provides maintenance of traffic services throughout the state of Florida.


Jim Cannan

Board Member, CEO

Jim Cannan runs Swyft Technology with a focus on the product management and software development of secure mobile cloud solutions.

For over 30 years, Cannan has helmed organizations developing business solutions for Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Government verticals. His experience prior to his role as CEO at Swyft Technology, includes leading IT and Product Development organizations at Andersen Consulting, Humana, and Fidelity National Information Services.

Cannan relies on a combination of Management Consulting, Architecture and Application Development experiences to efficiently develop custom solutions for individual clients and product solutions for mobile markets.


Charles Nelson

Board Member, Executive Vice President

Charles Nelson’s career spans over thirty years, with extensive experience as an investor, adviser, board member and operating executive to numerous software and communications companies.

Nelson served as the Vice President of National Data Sales for Cingular Wireless, where he was responsible for annual revenues in excess of $1B. Nelson later “spun-off” the Cingular Interactive business unit, taking it private by selling it to affiliates of Cerberus Capital Management.

Nelson would go on to helm Velocita Wireless (rebranded from Cingular Interactive) as President and CEO. He ran Velocita Wireless for two years before successfully selling the business to Sprint.


James W. Milligan

Chief Financial Officer

Beyond his involvement with Swyft Technology, James W. Milligan has led an accomplished over-40-year career in business.

Milligan served as a partner for Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1983, opening up the business’ Jacksonville office. He later worked for Computer Power, Inc. (CPI) as their Vice President of Planning and later President and CEO. CPI was sold to ALLTEL Information Services (AIS) in 1992, and Milligan continued on with the organization as President of the AIS Mortgage Division. After AIS was sold to Fidelity National Financial in 2003, Jim would serve as Vice Chairman of Fidelity Information Services, Inc (FIS).

Jim dedicates his time to the charitable causes of education, public housing, and recovery, He’s served on the boards of HabiJax and the Schultz Center, and he later went on to cofound the non-profit Florida Recovery Schools.


Rodney McLauchlan

Board Member

Rodney McLauchlan is a founder, shareholder, and board member of the Legacy Trust Company.

In addition to his prolific work at Legacy Trust and his role on the Swyft Technology board, McLauchlan also serves on the boards of a plethora of different organizations. He is the Chairman of Latin America for Global Strategic Associates, a New York-headquartered investment bank. He is an Advisory Board Member of Perfin Investimentos, a Brazilian hedge fund. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Uptime Solutions, a national software company. And he is an Emeritus Board Member of the Wharton Graduate Board, based in Philadelphia.

McLauchlan is also a Senior Advisor for Shearman and Sterling, a New York-headquartered law firm with a global presence.
